Samira Negrouche
The 2025 laureate of the Prix Fondane is Samira Negrouche, poet, author, and translator, who has a particular affinity for interdisciplinary creations, including artist’s books (in collaboration with Marc Giai-Miniet, Ali Silem, among others) and performances such as Quai 2l1 [Quay 2l1], created in 2018 with musicians Marianne Piketty and Bruno Helstroffer, and Traces [Traces], created in 2019 with choreographer Fatou Cissé. A major voice in Algerian poetry, her work has been translated into around thirty languages.
