Radu Belcin was born in 1978 in Brașov. He graduated from the National University of Arts in Bucharest and lives and works in Brașov. In his work, the artist seeks to create a universe where every viewer is pulled out of the routine of reality and thrown into unexpected situations. He uses the familiar markers of the world but gives them new meanings, questioning daily routines and drawing attention through entirely novel combinations of characters, relationships, actions, or objects.
