Anna Obszańska is a graduate of the Faculty of Dramatic Directing and the Faculty of Dance Theatre at the AST National Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków. Winner of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage Award and the ZASP Award for Best Director, she undertook further training in 2017 at the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen. She made her directorial debut in 2023 at the Kazimierz Dejmek New Theatre in Łódź with Carmen. She went on to stage Giselle, Dance! at the Contemporary Theatre in Szczecin, followed by The Haunted Manor at the Stary National Theatre in Kraków and Brave New World at the Pantomime Theatre in Wrocław. She is also a choreographer and lecturer at the AST in Kraków.
