Antoine Girard is a playwright at the Comédie de Genève. He trained at the École normale supérieure in Paris and at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University. As a playwright and artistic collaborator, he has worked notably with Célie Pauthe (Bérénice, 2018), Sarah Eltschinger (Je suis devenue ma vérité, 2021, based on Peter Handke’s Introspection; Augenblick, 2022), Roman Jean-Elie (Hamlet, 2019), and Séverine Chavrier (Ils nous ont oubliés; Occupations). Alongside this, he conducts research into the theatre of Krystian Lupa, to whom he has dedicated several articles, notably in the journal Théâtre/Public.
