MICHAŁ TELEGA, director and playwright, representing the youngest generation of Polish theatre, a lecturer at the Academy of Music, a graduate in directing from the Kraków Theatre Academy and a PhD student at the Academy of Fine Arts in the same city, researching the links between painting and theatre and the intersection of the visual arts and the performing arts in the work of artists of his generation. Michał Telega’s work with actors is based on the search for a constant balance between the actor’s private life and that of the character, with an emphasis on creating a theatrical language which, on various levels, facilitates dialogue with the audience.
