Paweł Kulczyński is both a musician and a sound artist, specialising in the creation of sound installations, instrument-making and working with field recordings. In his work, he employs complex strategies of multi-channel sound synthesis, projection and composition, and is particularly interested in the social and spatial contexts of music, the phenomenology of the audiosphere, acoustics, random events and conceptualism. He has performed at prestigious festivals in Europe and beyond, including CTM in Berlin, Unsound in Kraków, New York, Toronto and Bishkek, as well as Primavera Sound and the Gwangju Biennale.
